Nice app. Many thanks!

Could you PLEASE make an option also to include the feed frequencies in the satellites.xml?
This would be very useful.

This program is damn cool, could the person wrote it add the north american satellites to the list or provide the source code so it could be done. Thanks in advance.

@s_fanous:
first of all many thanks for your piece of sw: I found it very cool!
I'd like to adopt it, but I've an anomaly: having uploaded onto DB the settings obtained with your tool, I've OK the services on Hotbird 13°, but I've KO the services on Astra 19,2 (each zapping on Astra give me "channel not found").
The first time I edited the settings with DreamboxEdit , so, thinking that the problem was mine, I did a second upload with the orginal settings produced by Dreambox Lyngsat Settings, but I got the same problem.
Here is the satellites.xlm produced by your tool:
- <satellites>
- <sat name="Hot Bird 1/Hot Bird 2/Hot Bird 3/Hot Bird 4/Hot Bi" flags="1" position="130">
<transponder frequency="10719000" symbol_rate="27500000" polarization="1" fec_inner="3" />
.....
</sat>
- <sat name="Astra 1C/Astra 1E/Astra 1F/Astra 1G/Astra 1H/Astra" flags="1" position="1920">
<transponder frequency="10788000" symbol_rate="22000000" polarization="1" fec_inner="4" />
......
</sat>
</satellites>

I think the problem is here, because even using the "search satellites" function from the standard DB menu, I've in the combo-box only Hotbird (Astra is disappeared!)
Many thanks if you can give me a hint!

They look different to me; Hotbird with 3 digits and Astra with 4. Try and make Astra 192 instead of 1920 (with "WORDPAD"). Sure that will solve the problem.

thanks De Belg, this evening I'll try.
I don't know the syntax for this file (but I'd like to know! do you know where I can find a guide about it?), so I couldn't figure which parameters are only "descriptive" and which are operational.
I compared the previous and functioning settings, and I noticed that besides "sat name" (that I suppose is quite descriptive), it was different "flags" ("5" instead of "1"), but I didn't care for "position"...
