Linux Cardserver & Dreambox client PROBLEM!

Hi and happy new year

I've got running a LINUX Computer @ SuSe Linux 9.1
I've got copy carderver.i386 & cardserver.cfg in /etc

Here is a part of my cardserver.cfg:

When i run the cardserver.i386 with

cd /etc
./cardserver.i386

My PHOENIX Card reader on the COM1 works (i saw by the led) and list my card infos on the screen.

and he say " can't connect to 192.168.0.104 "
192.168.0.104 => my dreambox

I can't configure my dreambox for connect to my linux server !

my linux server is: 192.168.0.249

Anyone can help me ?

PS:

I want to make a Cardserver on a linux computer and share my Canal+ Seca 2 Subscription for my 2 dreambox on the local network.

My dreamboxs don't share anything !

i know its for some kind of Administrating but HOW ???
is it some software for that ???

You right This is port for administration... You should use camdcmd (this is tools include in newcamd package.) Camdcmd - It's need for ADSL and another reconnects... Another words if you lost connect with internet your server doing command adsl-up:
camdcmd wanon and your server (and clients) reconnecting
It's easy...
P.S. You should read manuals for newcamd package

I'm having the same problem (client freezing and opening the channel with a delay of few seconds) however,i'm using the DBox client accesing the Linux server over the web.

A good question will be that do i have to set in my firewall the DBox internal IP address to be in DMZ zone,it may fix the problem ??!!

You have to try off your firewall... If it's help you then problem in your firewall, if not then you should find another reason
