Receive Data Like old Nokia Dbox SCSI

This maybe wishful thinking?
The nokia DBOX (9200/9500) was very good at capturing DVB Data streams via the scsi. With the right PC software you could selectivley grab files from Satellite internet broadband. It was a great way to snatch mp3's from the air.

Given the versatility of the DB platform and its integrated IP functionality, it might be a realativley simple plugin to write. Although i am not capable of it, i am sure there are many of you who are...

Just a suggestion for someone who might have some spare time on their hands.....

It exists already, dvbsnoop. Developed as part of tuxbox. Someone reported it working, other had difficulties. Never tried myself.
