dreambox motorised dish help

Hi could someone please help me I have someone putting a motor on my dish and setting it up. but have no clue how to connect to dreambox and set that end up. A quick howto would be welome thanks in advance telstar

wath kind of rotor u have
USUAL or disec or maybe with positioner?
but dont put any motor on 500 u will burn the tuner!

My 500 is fine after turning a moteck sg2100a for 7 months now.

u'are lucky normaly max power of tuner is 50mA(16V-12V) so the rotor is maybe above this or with positoner and is PSU separat
read the manual of 500 ,but they are maybe a new model and a dont know

a friend of mine,is using the 500s with a diseque motor,it have a alps tuner,he had problems at first,but you know what he did?he went to Motor Set Up,then to Use go to xx Function,then he found his orbital position using google earth,and then save,and the motor had searched all the stored satellites he had in the channel list obviously till his east and west limits.as till yesterday from a month ago he's still enjoying his motorised system,thanks this option,with no harm,he is using a 1 metre dish
