7025 cable tuner

Hi i have problem with cable tuner NO SERVICES FOUND no mater what settings i use
An also how to flash erase this box........it's doin my my ed in.

Hi when you scan for channels first you need right cable xml for your area you need to place that in var/etc choose cable tuner start automatic scan it will start scanning for some reason it will scan sattelite tuner first you will get message services not find just leave it don,t abort it will cary on scanning you will find services say at 50% onward what image are you using**Dreamer786**

I have Gemini2 1.7.

NTL area Northants.

I have the same bloomin problem. Don't know whether I have put the cables.xml file in the wrong place or not... Plenty of satellite.xml files around but looking for a good cable one.

Whenever I scan I get nothing at all. Symbol rate is a prob too!

Hi ftp this file in var/etc it will say do you want to replace exicting xml file say yes then restart your box and try to scan this time do the same choose cable tuner start automatic scan with this cable xml it takes bit longer because bruteforce scans both 6952 and 6887 freq like i said in my last post when you scan with 7025c it scans the sattelite tuner first you get the message no services found don,t abort scan it. will carry on to the next tuner and you will find services at about 50% see how you get on**Dreamer786**

My 7025 has no var/etc folder. I have a straight etc or var folder. My cables.xml (original) sits currently in the etc/tuxbox folder with the satellites one. Is this where I'm going wrong?

Well I'll be damned - its scanned them all in.. Your a fine chap and deserve credit for helping me along. Of course I'm going to have to find something else now to be able to watch them!!
