5oo problem with dreamup

Hi all ,
Whenever i try to use dreamup 500 on my dm500 i get to the flash part and after about 20 seconds i get the message "upload packets failed"

Any 500 img i try has the same result.

I allready have a dm7000s so i am use to erasing and flashing images, but what i need to know is does this look like the bootloader has failed?

use dreamup with null modem cable doesnt work with lan okay with null .hope this helps

If YOU have problems with LAN enabled, please uncheck the use LAN check box and all will be fine.
This only appears with certain setups and has nothing to do with DreamUp or your Dreambox.

I have a problem with DreamUp dm500
I can flash erase, opload IMG. and flashing image but in the end i get this message : CRC32 check in flash failed.
Plz. help..

Switch DM500 OFF over night
In the morning or when home from school flash with erase.img
Flash erase.img several times (4-5x)
After that do a serial DreamUp(load) only

It should work... if you got still problems your Flash chip seems corrupt and needs to be exchanged.
What's with warranty?

I can tell you for sure - it's not curable by any known software means and hardware tricks - but there are two versions of it's cause - 1> It's something with flash chip and 2> Maybe you tried to install latest Hydra beta and it failed to load fp 1.06 beta - because there's some statistics already concerning that issue - if you haven't tried Hydra beta, but have that bug, please report.
