Dream - bootloader

Dear All,

First of all I apologise for my question as I presume this question has been here many times before. I have Dream box 7000s and I am having problems booting the box. My question is, do I really have to start looking for JTAG or can I repair it via serial port, and why in case of negative answer? As I am a beginner, I enclosed a screen I receive via serial port in case it is something else then broken boot loader.

Yes you can repair it by seriel port.

Use the program dreamup. start the program and push connect.
reboot the box, after the box is connected you can flash the image you want.

Tip first flash an erase image then flash the box again by serielport and then flash an other image.

Same problem but DB5620 never connect via serial because it hang up with the flash load => starting kernel
