DM7025-S Scart out to YUV

At one time there was a config setting to enable yuv. I can no longer find this and would like to know how we now configure YUV so that we can use Scart to YUV vith component cables. I see yuv is still listed in the colorformats.

If you're runnung Gemini 2 add the following to /etc/enigma2/settings :

config.av.yuvenabled=true


Just remember to stop enigma before editing the file, or your changes won't be saved.

Yes, I run Gemini on 7025, and there's no /etc/enigma2/config or anything like that.

Anybody has a WORKING tip for enabling yuv? Should I create these files?

Insert this

config.av.colorformat=yuv
config.av.yuvenabled=true

into /etc/enigma2/settings and restart enigma2 with

killall -9 enigma2

this should give you the yuv output

Hi

I now have YUV from my DM7025, but it does not kick in until the Box has almost completed Booting.

Is there a setting to change that will force the box to use YUV during Boot??

Not at the moment. Try bombing dreammultimedia to implement it.

What does YUV give you ? Any better picture ? i have component to component, that should be better than scart to anything is it not ?

Try the latest Ronaldd image - YUV is selectable from A/V settings.
