Hi mate, as u see there is another guy V5 works fine with him, it is not a matter of qenius, it is trial and error, It works fine with me with different emus, Evocamd CS, Mgcamd CS, G-box 2.25, while V4 works only with extra irdetto cam.

I use Gemini 1.7, HDD 120, evocamd, Mgcamd, G-box 2.25, and it works with sometimes crash from time to time. but no major problem.

By the way Here in my counry it is available and we did not get any news about upgrading or hardware development in this great box, even in the german forum sponsored by gemini team, no news about such things.

Greetings

Yes the irdeto2 V5 cards are working on 7025 on all emu's , but as stated all images due to the driver of sci reader can not read v4 for some reason.

Astakona,

why are you still using Gemini 1.7?.
The present version is 3.0 and also version 2.4 is fine.

regards

Re: 7025 - what's goin' on?

1.7 was a pretty fine release, yaknow.
Anyway, with newer versions, it has problems running my HH GotoX mount. It does this with Gemini, LT, Neutrino v0.2, and pretty much with anything i tried, no matter the settings used. Funny thing though, with Gemini 1.7 or Neutrino v0.1 it works without a flaw, pointing the dish precisely to any visible satellite. With newer images i get a Tune Failed error. Just retried Neutrino v2 the other day, and at first it seemed ok, but then the damn box kept trying to move the dish at every channel change, no matter if the channels were on the same satellite... and then the Tune Failed error again!
I use Dream Set (latest) and Lycra settings. What can be wrong?

What about the Gemini 3.0? is it worth testing? I'm not a big fan of Gemini, as there's not much news from one release to the other.... my dream would be a PLi image for the 7025... now that would be HEAVEN

P.S. I just got it back from repairs - it had a faulty LCD. To my surprise, DMM changed pretty much everything in it, including the mainboard and especially the PSU, which now doesn't turn into an oven anymore

Re: 7025 - what's goin' on?

m8 .... give the latest ronaldd image a try.....

I was on Gemini 1.7 for a while and had no luck with other images.... tried the Ronaldd and now I like my box again.

One thing I have noticed is how much more sensitive the 7025 tuner is compared to the 7000 tuner.

I have 2 dishes and the set up on one is absolutely perfect ..... the other ..... not quite as good. I had the 7025 on the latter and it would lose it's marbles when changing channels.

I have now swapped receivers so 7025 is now on best dish ..... the improvement is immense ...... no tuner failed etc ..... and 42e romping in at 95%

Regards

Matty

Re: 7025 - what's goin' on?

@Matty74 thanx m8, i downloaded latest ronaldd for 7025, but haven't had the time to set it up yet (tough time at work for a while)

Anyway, i've never tried ronaldd before, neither on the 7025, nor on my dm500s. Is it customizable? I tried to find some documentation on it first, but no such luck due to the lack of free time this days...
Could you give me some more details about this image?

Later Edit:
I installed the image, it looks great and seems to handle the usals rotor. But the LCD doesn't display anything at all once enigma is loaded, although it works correctly through the boot sequence. I had the same problem with LT image.
Is there a workaround to this?

Regards!
