Don't be so sure.
Neotion has some CI modules that would let you watch mpeg4 channels in any CI capable mpeg2 receiver.
This of course when times come,and there is a market for it.

An mpeg4 decoder won't help you, if you can't receive the program at all, as it's broadcasted with another modulation (as defined in the dvb-s2 standard)

So far it looks it is possible changing 3 condenser inside the dream to allow the stv6412 /stv6411 chip to output yuv signal.

as the tuners are interchangeable in the 7025, maybe we will see dvb-s2 tuners for 7025 in the future ?

Can I ask you guys? DM7025 gets any kind of Hard Disk? I have a SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200 with capacity 120GB. Will be ok to put it in my DM?

as far as you know , DM 7025 dont have any HDMI plug and ...
i cant even get these channels... and you're saying that i can watch!

the 7025 can decode mpeg2 HD (720p perfect, 1080i ok)

it downsamples it to 480i because the output chip cant output HD. still it looks awesome.
