Video quality video out RCA

I am watching on my 14 inch sony triniton using the video out (rca) the quality is like a VCD. If i record to internal HDD and then playback on the computer, the quality is amazing.
Is there any way to improve this? In Hong Kong SCART is not very common.
Would a scart to s-video adaptor be any better?

Any ideas comments please.

Also How can i play back what i have recorded on the DB... On the DB not the pc

Actually, the dreambox has YPbPr component output on the same scartwires as RGB.
You just need an scart -> 3xrca adapter to connect it to a projector.

I've been waiting for the 7025 for over a year, and the RB for six months. As I see it, the 7025 is a working FTA receiver and when some images are ported it'll be great. The RB was and still is an unknown quantity. I spend £500 and the wife's going to say, "what can we watch?" and when she finds out we can watch more on a £100 patched Technomate, she ain't going to be one impressed bird.

@jenkkie700 - presumably, I need to send the video to 3 x rca and the audio separately to 2 x rca?? Sounds good. Lack of component was putting me off as I didn't want to have to go back to a scart switch.

DMM web site says this of the scart output:

TV-Scart:
Output: FBAS,RGB,S-VHS over OSD selectable

How do you make that out to be component?

I am so worried that you may well be right. I have £500 sitting there and the choice is a RB or a 7025........

Trouble is that having waited so long I now have a Z500 so I don't need the media streamer bit of the RB, I bought a DVICO twin DVB-T tuner from Renura PTY for my HTPC, and I am beginning to ask myself what the RB is going to do for me.

yes im very concerned about my investment aswell...but funny thing is they were sayin they are in the proccess of doing a deal with miscrosoft so maybe thats why the software is developing soooo slow...so maybe vdr is really just a big smoke screen;0
