Well, they'll have to do a deal with somebody to be able to get HDCP compliance on the DVI output of the Avantgarde. Then there's the DVD Forum, CSS, and all that lot. And on top of that NDS doesn't seem to want any ethernet equipped boxes out there at all.

I reckon they have a big hill to climb.

Based on your experience, how long before we can expect any third party images for the 7025? Plus the emus don't work on it yet, do they?

yes reel do have some curly issues...and seems to me there maybe some truth in it as you can see by one of the site admins here heheheh...ignore the weeny posts...its interestin for a linux group sayin about windows ce

Would a Dragon work in a 7025 with the factory image until something more interesting comes along?

I have been waiting to get a 7025 but want one with a cable and sat tuner, also waiting until there is a stable image & emu.

I am starting to think that maybe it would be better to buy 2 DM500 and network them using the PC hard drive to record, would be cheaper as well.
