Flashwizard not working with the DM600
I try yetserday the only way to flash is via the null modem and flash the memory
but 30 minutes to uplao dthe img but it workings fine

Samba works fine with dm600, since the images are based on OE (open embedded).

You definitely don't need to wait 30+ minutes to flash.
make sure you get the latest dreamup 1.3.1.0.
Boot you dreambox with Lan connected.
Go into network and read ip address.
Turn off dreambox
Tick off "use network" in dreamup and put in correct IP adress.
Press connect.
Start Dreambox
Push flash, and choose image.
Flash is done in about 2 minutes.

Easy as cake.

Experience so far:
LIKE:
Small
S-video out
Lots of Memory
Fast
Looks good
Normal sized Remote control
Very quiet

DONT LIKE:
Streaming not working 100%
Timeshift not working 100% (rewind, pause etc.)
No USB
Not supported by flashwizard
Not 100% stable yet.
Menus halfway disappear some times.
IDE (not Sata) limits HD to 160GB (instead of 200GB)

Would I recommend it?
Yes Absolute. Some of this stuff will be addressed.
Other stuff, buy a 7020 or 8000..

are they working with the same remote controller,
and are there problems when they are standing next eachother ???????,

havent dm600, but can say

dm500 understand big remote from dm7020(only exit(lame) in some menus opens Help, but button Info works as exit)
dm500 with 2 year old image doesnt undersand laitest silver dm500 RC

dm7020 doesnt understand any of dm500's RCes

witch dreambox is than not responding on my remote controll when i have the latest Dreambox 500S with latest gemini on.

Help please...

I have the new DM600s, running PLi Helenite Final.

It is connected on my network and I have mounted several folders; music (mp3s, movies (recordings from my DM7000s) etc.

Here is the problem: When I try to play movies that were recorded on my 7000s, I get lot of stuttering / stops, it hangs for several seconds, then some seconds of play and so on. Same thing when I try to play mp3s using Jukebox.

Should the dm600s be able to play these recordings? It words perfect on my 7000s.

Please help - TIA!
