more problems with this box!!

hi ,

woke up this morning with the rcb tripped, in my house, everything seemed ok and reset it, a few hours later tried my sat, and to no avail. The dreambox has a orange screen when switched on, but without any writing on it.. and no activity except for the orange light on the display... no mater what i do..its lifeless!!

Any ideas?

Re: more problems with this box!!

hi,

i thinking that the rcd tripped because of the reciever, its a bit of a coincidence that the box has gone faulty the same time as the rcd tripped!

anyway, so what your saying is the reciever is a dead duck and chuck it? as its not under warrenty now?

Re: more problems with this box!!

I reckon you need to get the PSU checked out, any good TV Engineer can repair a switch mode psu.
