Red face Dreambox reboot himself Help :)

Hi,

I have a pb with my 7020 dream (no pb for the netwotk i can ping with paquet 1500 and all work good).

I see when i look in the date of tmp files (in ftp) that my dream reboot himself, and i don't know why, i run mgcamd emu, newcs (last version) in my dream.

I have try on many img (but in gemini 2.4 2.5) i'll test other image, my dream reboot.

Do you know the way to log what happened ? Can i make debug to see why she's reboot.

Thx for your help,

Seb.

Re: Dreambox reboot himself Help :)

I have never seen somebody overfilling his /var or /var/tmp in a DM7020 but nothing is impossible!
Delete some unnecessary stuff from your /var and reboot

Cool Re: Dreambox reboot himself Help :)

Sorry for my bad english lol

So i look into my var/tmp to see the file newcs.pid and with this file i can see the date/time.

Like i'm not always in front of my dreambox, i don't see if she reboot himself, but she is.

I don't know why but !!!

I have no extra etc. no extra in /var so can i log engima etc. ? to see why the reboot comes ?

Thx again.

Red face Re: Dreambox reboot himself Help :)

Thx, i'll try it

The reboot comes at any time so it's difficult to see it).

But if var is full (in flash) i have try img in CF with enough memory so normally /var is not full !.

But i'll try it

Thx.

Unhappy Re: Dreambox reboot himself Help :)

On my DM7020 :
I have try to flash erase but no luck

I think it was enigma restart and not all dreambox.

So .nfi is about 18Mo and dream can go to 32Mo with flash, and the same pb when i boot on CF with 180Mo of free space so .....

Very strange,

I have put the same img (gemini 2.50 on flash) on my DM7000 and she run cool (no restart).
