Because if you read me post carefully I'm telling you that with Gemini 2.4
I have 2.7 MB/sec WITHOUT using the software 'fix'...
with 2.5 i have half that...so the problem is in Gemini not in the PCB
And I DONT believe you can achieve the 4 MB
And I can watch DVD without problem without any fix (i just use the
previous Gemini)...my box is 8 months old so its one of the first
I dont discourage anyone i just present the facts
I dont have a sister...can i do what you suggested with your sister's
knitting circle ?

4mb-40mb who really cares, it still made a vast improvement to my box even without the software fix. It was more than double the speed I was getting previous!!!!! Used in conjunction with the software fix it's great!!!
It may be alright for you to sit back and go on and on blah blah, but for me it helped greatly.
I can now watch a DVD from my PC, before it would stutter no matter what.
So instead of discouraging everything posted in this thread why dont you find something else to do, like hang out with your sisters knitting circle or something...I'm sure there is plenty to bitch about there. :p
