FTP transfer with crossover cable

Dear friends,

I can not hook up the dreambox to my CPU via crossover cable correctly. It gives me always the same message (Windows can not access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access this folder - Operation timed out). Can somebody give the correct procedures in detail - because I'm not an expert and have never done a manuel update. Thank you very much. S. Stocklin
