I have tried the hdparm command:
hdparm -M 254 /dev/ide/....../disc
This is for running the hdd at max speed.
I've seen hdparm -M 128 in the /etc/init.d/rcS of hydra image.
This is better with 254, but there is still some small problems.
Maybe I have to do new tests later on.
Have you other ideas ?
