hi there, I'm the luky owner of a 5620 for several day's now.
playing and exploring, tried to mount a hdd with cifs, finally got it all working properly, but as i enabled dhcp in the expert setup, the box freezes, so time to restart whit the three button.... 5600 boot and a black screen, dreamup, telnet and after reading this forum, also hyperterminal, i have the same error as watching2buy posted on 04-20-2004, 10:16 AM, only i managed to do the console routed to ttyS0, this is what i see with hyperterminal with a "normal" boot:

Problem solved !
somewhere on this forum they mentioned problems with the serialport of the pc, so i tried it whit another pc, still the same, on the third pc i had contact using dreamup2.14, uploaded an image, and all is going swell here

Tryed to loose static electric. as described by maxyxx by grounding the flash
ttyS0 results same as described by dtvp
Upon try to flash with DreamUp it keeps on saying "switch Dreambox on" though I did that.
Any help?
