5620S network problem

today for some strange reason my network has gone down ?

it was all working fine i moved my dish and reflashed hydra anghared all seems ok

i can ping my dreambox but when i try to connect with flashwizard or flashftp or telenet i cannot get into the box ?

i need to update the keys as the anghared keys (marys out of date) dont work... until i fix the network how can i get the new keys onto the dreambox ?

it has been working fine i have checked the firewall on the network disabled it and still have the same problems ?

anyone else had this problem with the 5620S and know how to fix it ?

thanks in advance
Mickie

????

have you checked the ip settings on the db?? and also on the flashpro?? also if correct check you cable connections and reboot

if it was working then it points to something you have done recently, or accidently ie factory reset or on the db network settings not saved

hope this is of help to you

well its a strange one m m8......proccess of elimination 1/ u can access the net via the comp cos u have posted here

so it has to be either a comp based network issue firewall and virus software disabled so not that

your comp ip needs t be checked ie if 192.168.1.1 sub mask 255.255.255.0 if your db is for example 192.168.1.11 sub mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 network box should have a "X" in it and save also on the comp is it enabled to share the internet connection??

yes i have this

PC = 192.168.0.1

db = 192.168.0.100

subnet = 255.255.255.0 (for both)

its very strange as it was working this morning and all i did was re-align my dish as i am also having trouble with the astra and hotbird monoblock (thats another post lol)

but the dreambox updates the keys and the softcams over the internet (through my PC with the X-over cable) but i cant do anything with the dreambox like ftp or telnet or anything ???

dunno what to make of it

Unplug PC and Dreambox from mains power,wait a few mins then plug them back in again,switch them both back on see if that helps.
