Client DB freezes every 2 mins in sharing

Hi folks

I have a db which i'm using to share it to a friend on trial basis so far.

He is a client and I have put a software recently released called New Hydra56xx Angharad 1.06 image, now connection is donr but picture appears for few seconds hardly a minutes then freezes, the only way to get the picture back is to open radegast menu and activate it again, and again for one or two mins it freezes again.

Please help me out to find out where the problem is.

Zenj

I found out the problem !

Please refer my question above

My friend who is sharing has managed to sort out the freeze problem by selecting the following settings in the db

ECM = off
EMM = off

whats the significance of these settings to remain off ?

I was told they should be remote and off respectively.

Need to know how do they work when db is a client ?

Thanks

on a ECM, the cleint needs to have remote , and EMM should be disabled. In plain words...

ECM='Can I have the key for the picture' and EMM='Please update key'

also, in the radegast.cfg, make sure the 'net timeout' is 5000 or above

It's confusing, if I do what you say
EMM=remote
ECM=off
I get slow change in channels moving, from one to another and as i said earlier my friend seem to have freezing of picture on this setting.This is the setting that I was also told by other guys in the forum too.

When this guy decided to use
EMM=off
ECM=off
the freezing went off and the pictures have been very stable and channel change is quicker to show picture, he is happy on this setting.

Now what are the implications if I let him keep these settings ?

Does it mean he will not get card updates on his side ?

I checked net timeout and its at 10,000 on radegast.cfg, thanks for the tip

Regards

Zenj
