schematic for jtag 5620 needed

would you please give me the scematic of jtag for db 5620
I have cas inteface 2 add on but I don't have cable which relates to db 5620
Are there any other solution for db 5620 jtag exept using cas interfase

Use the flat 20 pin cable that comes with cas2.

would you please give me some info how to repair the box
Is It save to use the 20 pin cable since there are 16 pins In 5620
also some additional info would be fine (did you succeed In using just cas 2 interface 2, also which of the two 16 pins socets inside I have to use and how I have to connect the cable of cas into dbox - which pins of the cable would be not used)

You must have read my following reply in the '.....Die) thread. What don't you understand ?

"Ok, left to right - Cas2 connected to addon connected to 5620 with cable on top. Box front near you. Further edge of cable (not near edge) lined up with further edge of 2x8 connector in 5620 which is next to the card reader. Follow cas2 switch on instruction. Thats it !

ps. I programmed bootloader OK, but box still didnot boot up."

I'm in the same boat. I'm still not clear as to the wiring.

The cable has a red stripe on mine, if I load it with the red stripe nearest the usb port on the jtag with the cable pointing up heading toward the dreambox with the cable on the right does the following match your expectation? I get "Dream Box Not Connected (FFFF) Check connection scheme on our site"

I too have the Duolabs CAS2, the only addon I have is a small pcb labelled "jcard cas2" and a ribbon cable 2*10. I need another piece don't I. I just know I need aanother piece. Everything needs another piece ;-) Cheers.

Yes unfortunately ! The jcard is for upgrading joker cam only. The addon is another small board that plugs into the cas. you will probably see a picture in the duolabs site.

Ta for the info. I have ordered one. So to the original question, although it is probably redundant, as I asked because my interpretation of your description didn't work, for (now) obvious reasons.

Addon into the cas2, cable one end to addon other end to dream pins near the card reader. It is very simple. Any problem will be pleased to help.
