Hi!

Before you go on, please make sure that your network connection to your Dream is properly configured, e.g. try to zap to any channel using the http-interface typing "http://<your dreambox ip>/" in your internet browser or connect via telnet and/or ftp typing "telnet <your dreambox ip>" or "ftp <your dreambox ip>" on your operating systems command line (user is "root" and password should be "dreambox"). If you get connected testing those three protocols, your ip configuration is ok.

Once assured that, the problem could be:

(1) DCC is not properly configured
(2) there is no space left on your dreambox (test via telnet connection as described above an typing the command "df", which will provide you a summary of space left on any device of your Dream).

If even the connection by http/ftp/telnet fails, the problem could be:

(1) Check your settings on the dreambox communications control panel ("Settings" -> "Expert" -> "Communication"; IP-Adress should be something like 192.xxx.xxx.xxx, being the first two "xxx" identical to the tcp/ip configuration of your network card located in your PC, Subnet-Mask 255.255.255.0 and "Network enabled" checked)
(2) if you changed your PC's IP configuration, be sure to reboot before trying to connect to Dream. Your Dream does not need to reboot.

Let me know if all these hints won't help you...

Saludos,
LaMoncloa
