dm7000 & dm500 recordings via lan

Hi, is it possible to play, with the dm500 a movie recorded with the 7000?

Not sure if you mean using the 500S to access and play the movie direct from the hard disk of the 7000S. Don't know if this is possible.

What I do is record a movie on my 7000S and then FTP the files (there's usually twofiles for a recording within the movie ->hdd folders.
(.ts and.eit file)
I FTP these two files to my CIFS mounted hard disk that my 500S uses and then play them through file mode. Play a treat.

Yes it's possible I done that with my dm500s and my dm7000s with gemini 2.20...mount a nsf drive on the dm500s from the dm7000s

I have the gemini 2.20 in my dm 500 and I mounted an nsf drive to use the hard disk of my pc. I tried to mount another nsf to view my dm7000 hard disk
but I wasn't able to do it. Can you please post me the configuration of this
mount of your dm500?
