Well I must have been hitting the wrong button or I don't know.
It worked now. Pressing the "Video" button form the DM 7000 remote did the job of changing the channel list view.
Of course this means that you cannot change it back using the DM 500 remote unless you customize it and assign the video button function to some other button.

Ok I found what was going on. You need to install the rcdm5xxx.xml file first in order to have this work....
After installing the above file the video button does the job it is suppose to do

It's a shame that Dream Multimedia didn't supply the same Remote Control of DM 7000 with the little box.
I would rather give 10 Euro more and have that Remote than this miniature of remote with so many buttons missing.
