Yes and yes (om dm7000).
What is it _exactly_ what you want to do? E.g. it is possible to have one image in flash (e.g. for backup) and multiple others on NFS, but in that case you will have to boot your dreambox manually using a null modem cable + terminal emulator _every_time_. If you can live without an image in flash, there is a kludge to make the dreambox boot completely flash-less, automatically, from NFS.
