The Dm500 will NOT drive a Diseqc motor / rotor / positioner / whatever you like to call the DiseqC spinning thing that drives your dish. Why? Because it does not have enough power in the electrical department.
You can say what you like and quote the manual until the cows come home.... TRY IT! Rig up a Diseqc motor to your Dm500, then after it finally sinks in that it's not going to move no matter what you do, move on and work around it.
I will repeat this for the umpteenth time, the only way to get a DM500 to move a dish is using a V-BOX2 and a 36V actuator due to the fact that the V-BOX2 supplies the power requirements the actuator needs.
The DM500 quite simply cannot cope with the power requirements.
