i used the manual method(root.cramfs) method...all worked well when the box rebooted i then did a fatcory reset...box works fine...i will say my box has a minor hardware issue when i turn the power off the network port dies...but usin the above method works fine for me...otherwise the image is great

So the mod is compulsory! (Maybe the software you are using is covering the bug.... The_Hydra images have a straight forward approach to the task!)

Does your box have the C725 mod?

i have cheeked my DB co i open it & i find capacitor 100μF 25V soled parallel to C725 on the mainboard
so do i need to chang it to 50V ?

No you don't, in all likelihood the mod was factory installed. May be the DMM "exports" meant they haven't shipped the revised PCB with C725 = original+add on. V rating is secondary and indicates maximum voltage a capacitor could tolerate, so if your 25V isn't blown yet, you're fine and I doubt voltage would exceed 25V anyway.

what you need to do right now is test your box WITHOUT newcamd, try radegast. It seems that newcamd has been the source of all the trouble. It also seems the Ninja turtles should test their box with newcamd and (shhhttt...zpider)

Thanks for the feedback ;-) but keep in mind, The_Hydra cannot take responsibility for softcams/emulators etc. If we had to test all the cams out there, Images would never be released as all the emulators have a problem in one way or another.

As Raph4el has said in another thread. The_Hydra do NOT write the softcams that plug into our image. Our images are written to support as many softcams/emus as they can.

If there is a bug with a softcam like newcamd or any other then it is up to the softcam author to fix.

Once it is fixed, we will then make the fix available via a cpanel update.

As TamerT rightfully suggested, try a different softcam.

As for the hardware fix for diseq, it is totally at your discretion whether you take out the soldering iron or not. The_Hydra are happy to pass on the information that we have however it is your decision ultimately to act on it.
