I have no idea, and am not going to pretend I know what is wrong :-( My DM500 has been running Olympia for a week now... and its my Active decoder as it gets used every day. try using the box as a standard system (no Diseq etc etc etc and only one Sat) as the DVB broadcast can make enigma break (its not uncommon for that to happen)

Did you do the DiSEqC modification?

To fix the hardware bug in early DM500-S Dreams you need to solder a capacitor 100μF 50V parallel to C725 on the mainboard

So how do you know if you need that mod or not? My box works fine with diseqC motor using original and tiger imgs.

All DM500 out in the fields are pre releases!
Not one revised DM500 has been shipped so far!
That's latest info from DMM Exports

So the mod is compulsory! (Maybe the software you are using is covering the bug.... The_Hydra images have a straight forward approach to the task!)

HI Guys i have 7 dm500 and all of them with the same problem they work fine but after a few minutes black screen (i can telnet and FTP) but the Receiver doesn’t respond to the remote control but the green led works .
Iv tried with direct cable with out diseq still I get the hang .




P.S Tiger and the original software works like a charm
