- Yep Nokia is THE best DBox2
- Flashing the DBox2 is a bit different procedure but easy too
- I killed my bootloader several times and always could reflash with serial cable!

Thanx for that tip , I havnt yet damaged a bootloader , and hope that I never do , however , I must have flashed my Dbox II with over 500 times by now , as I test nearly every image I can when time permits for my sagem .
I however, having a 1x flash , used to be only able to use 2x CRAMFs + JFFS images , and converted them to 1x .....but now the preferd JFFS only images are 2x , and there is a new jffs converter out now ' Image Works for JFFS ' this allows me to use alot more images for the Sagem . Im currently trying out an Enigma+Neutrino working image ruNE.DBOX_rudbox_0106beta1

Hi there Keymaster..


If i was you, i would probably invest in a Dreambox rather than a Dbox2..Mainly because there is more support and more of a following.
I have a Dbox2 here if you want... As i wouldnt mind upgrading to a Dream media box..

I bought mine just over a year ago from a trader via Ebay in Austria..
If you want i can forward his contact address to you. He was a good trustworthy trader that sent me a Brand New Box Pre Loaded with Linux.
