if you mean m8 ,how to send and install a img via ftp,on the flash memory its easy
first rename the img to root.cramfs
and ftp to /tmp.then with the remote control.setup>expert setup>software update>manual update .press ok and yes to install the new img ,and wait a litle to finish.
after , reboot>flash erase with the up buton ,and config.
if you mean this thats all.
