Can you indicate me a tool for convert DVD into .ts video format?

VLC media player can do this.
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/, but learning subtitles, it's too hard to me.

I see that VLC is only client, I want convert an DVD into TS format and after put it into dreambox for a vision.
Can you help me on it?

you can convert DVD to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 then convert MPEG to ts format by using PVAS2029 avialable in this site

from the 1.07... imageversions, the dreambox can play your dvd vob files...

otherwise you can convert the vob files to mpg to play them on your dreambox....

But I can put into my dreambox MPEG (divx?) files and play it or the procedure is other?

ftp them to your harddisk or nfs server and select them via the file menu...

Yes i tried and it works ok, just the vobs must be decripted 1st with smartripper or some program of the sort before uploading to dbox

huh

just wondering- is it possible to make DB to understand .vob (and entire DVD) same way as DVD player do? I mean- .vob is close enough to formats understandable to DB... ?
