THE RU DREAM IMAGE WORK'S GREAT .THE DISEQ IS OK BUT NOT ACTIVATE IT AFTER FLASH ,JUST RESTART THE DREAMBOX AND GO TO THE NEXT PAGE .I HAVE 2 UPC CARD I PUT THEM IN THE 2 SLOTS OF DREAM AND WORK FINE WHIT RADEEGAST!

I'm running DB with ruDream 107.2_rd_v20031224.1414 img. DB harware has S/N 31xx and 120 GB Maxtor. Everything works great exept that it seems to bea problem with DiSeq switching.

I have a 4-port DiSeq switch from Eutelsat (!). It is labeled V2.0. I have On port 1-4 I have 1W, 5E, 13E and 19,2E. Most of it works ok but problems to swtch n some Conax-chanles on 1W. The problem seems to only occur on carriers with SR 24000 and FEC 7/8. Like KIOSK and Canal+ channels.

Antenna is 75+ cm and I have SNR on more than 80%.
When DiSeq-sw is bypased, all works OK. I don't thing the switch is bad since it seems to work an all other channels/satellites.

- Is there any known problems with ruDream img and DiSeq switching ?

Problem solved.

Reason for posting this is if someone else might exprience similar Diseq-problems.

I bought a new 4-port Diseq switch and it works.
(But my old 4-port DiSeq works with other brands as Nokia and Force.)

To me it seems like there is a small timing problem in the s/w that controls the DiSeqC. It looks like the problem only occur when controlling two switches that are daisychained, and only when the first switch in the serie have to be switched. This because I have only seen this problem on port 1, and sometimes on port 2. Never on port 3 or 4. And for some reason, only with Conax or Viacess coded channels. I asume that the electronic in my new switch is little faster, and that is why it works now. The old 4-port switch is at least 3 years old.

So, I can now keep on dreaming...
