Charlie- is on a distinguished road
Images and DM500-T

Hi,

Is anyone here using DM500-T? I have it in use, but it doesn't work properly with any (500-)image I have tested so far. My location is Finland and transponder is Espoo.

The problem is that the box "loses signal" when changing from a mux to another or putting the box to standby-mode. In the first case you can change to a certain mux only once, second time it will not work. If you put the box to standby-mode, it will lose the channels even if there is only one mux configured. In both cases the result is "service could not be found", and there is no signal visible in the signal indicator.

Could someone who has knowledge of the functions behind these features tell what should be fixed in the software?

Thanks in advance.

Well, the problem is this:

But it seems this is true satellite-forum, and nobody is interested in this T-issue.

hmm, interesting, but it doesn'tsay if these boxes use OFDM modulation or QAM modulation which is used on DVB-Cable.

many DVB-T providers use OFDM modulation, and these DVB-T boxes with QAM modulation don't work unfortunately.

anyone has more info on which modulation is used on these boxes?

regards

In theory box should work with OFDM, QAM-16 and QAM-64 modulations. At least this is what Enigma supports except that at the moment it doesn't work
