Hard drive recording question

When I record to the hard drive on my dreambox I am restricted to the channel boquet/transponder list that I am recording. For example if I start recording say RTL2 on astra then if I want to zap through the channels all I can get are the few channels in the RTL boquet. Is there a way to be able to record on the dreambox and zap through all the channels on the satellite that you are viewing. Thank's for any help with this problem.

It's not possible to zap on all channel on the same sat , the only thing possible is record one channel and watch one other but only on the same transpondeur (and depends emu you are using).
But it will be possible the day you'll have a dreambox with two tuners , in the future ...

Thank you for your answer pandragorn. I do use mgcamd and can do as you say. What I thought that you would be able to do is just hit record and be able to zapp through the channel list and the dream box would record which ever channel that you happen to be on. Maybe it is asking a bit much to be able to do this as I am so used to this feature with with my panasonic hd recorder. Oh well.
