Exploring Dreambox Hard Drive

Hello,
Is there a program to explore the Hard Drive on the Dreambox (linux) in a similar manar as windows explorer.
Or can we use an FTP program for this?

One could Telnet the HD drive but this is like operating in the old DOS.

I like to remove some unwanted files on the HD of Dream but DB is not rcognozing the HD anymore (using FW).

Many thanks.

this is true only if the disk is formatted in ext2, which isn't the case in recent images (either reiserfs or ext3).

The easy solution is via ftp with something like ftp explorer (explorer like gui).

Hello,
Thanks icest0rm, drakpzone,

I will try both Explore2fs and ftp explorer

@xyz667,
I have no movies on the HD, just 1 or 2 corrupted images that are interfering with FlashaWiard, so it is not recognizing the HD.

Regards
