question about digital recording

I am quite new to the dreambox one point about the dreambox is not so clear. the rest is pretty clear ;-)
Is it possible to capture the signals from a video recorder to the internal harddisk?
if so - how can it be done.

It can't be done.

AFAIK DB doesn't have the necessary hardware for converting analog input to digital.
