Wifi plug-in pack v1.0 beta 107 - 108.2

Howto: Free plug-in wifi beta v1.0

Use it for your own risk.

This is the wifi plugin people waited long time for, still one small problem:
After installing you must edit your startup file and reboot your box!

The zip file contains three options:

- Wifi plugin 107.x releases, not tested
- Wifi plugin 108.1 release, not tested, so keep in mind that it is possible that it will give problems with the usb support!
- Wifi plug-in 108.2 release, tested succesfull

Install notes:
1. Unpack the zipfile, open the directory
2. Choose the release you are using, and open this directory
3. Open the /var directory
4. FTP the 'wifi' directory to the '/var' directory
5. CHMOD the files in the '/var/wifi' directory to 755
4. FTP the 'tuxbox/plugins' files, to the same directory on your dreambox
5. FTP the 'init' file of the '/var/etc' directory to the '/var/etc' directory on your dreambox,
if this file allready exists edit it as shown below:

/var/wifi/wifistart.sh


Select the wifi plugin via the plugin button (mostly yellow on your remote) and run it.
Edit your settings and press the green button to save them.
Be sure that your usb wifi is inserted and reboot your box.
Now it should work if you have the supported sticks listed below!

I'm using a 108.1 release right now and it works great. About the 107.x, my first devel was done there should be no problems as well.

The only version I'm not sure it's working are the rucannons version because of the special kernel of Tiger. Does someone can confirm (working or not)?

Shit , I also tried a sitecom usb which is on the list too.
Am I missing something , I bring up plugins then wifi . Its configured as the dreambox com settings ........

So IP is the ip of the box?

Im happy that your poeple like this plugin.
i have post this plugin on an other board, and a few poeple have say nothing good about this plugin. :-(( , but wath the f***, we have do us best.

This week we make maybe the litle bugs out, and open system and shared key is comming in it.
If the poeple what have working on it stil get interesed.
And when lololluy have time maybe we can experiment with faster wifi, must first ask him.
