Excellent Guide Klona,

I used the earlier version before I got my box to learn as much as I could before it arrived.

The update gives me more information on some of the other features I have not tried yet such as auto satellite.xml updating.

Again thankyou for your hard work and the others who have contributed.

Damned. You are right !
Dreambox file system cannot handle file larger 2 Gb !
I cannot believe it ! DMM stucks on 2 Gb file limit as FAT32, but on a linux computer. Sound weird.

Even a file on the PC shared through NFS is simply not seen by the dreambox.

Next version of the guide will correct that point

Italian translationis on the way, thansk to a great italian guy.
I am afraid that all other translations are stuck to version 2.2..
Translators of version 2.2 seems not to want anymore do this time consuming job to translate.

And I speak several languages (english isn't my native one) but do not have time to do it.
I assume also that everybody should bring is little part of work to keep dreambox so magic.
My guide is almost a compilation of information that you can found on the net, nothing really special or innovative, just a good pot with main infos.
As always, there are always people to complain but bring nothing to others. Just ignore.
