help put my mind at east over my flash problem(tried to flash a rar file)

Hi, i have been very stupid and flashed my box with the rar file of an image. I got an error once it had finished flashing.

I am currently trying to reflash withthe img , im just worried that the rar file would have corrupted my flash or somthing?

Anyone else done this.

Look out for the erase.img which was uploaded some time ago.
Then flash your box 2-3 times with this "empty" image to write all FF FF tou your Flash.
After this you may flash The_Hydra Olympia and all should be fine

No worries about the erase.img file!

Here is the erase.img again! it's very tiny in compressed format because it's all FF FF inside.
Unpacked it is the size of the full Dreambox Flash 8MB

Just flash it 2.3 times to your Dreambox to be sure that all static resident data has been overwritten!
Yes, I know it takes some time but it is worth the effort!

Good luck
