Read EMK from Goldie

My sub has gone dead, my goldie is fine.
I should be able to read my goldie for the current EMK.
But using fmcard to read my goldie just keeps searching the data from the card without stopping, anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour.
What other program can I use to read the goldie?
Any help would be great!

No you shouldn't, your EMK is aquired thanks to details provided by a friendly logger (Send them the Prov Id and HSN).

As for the card reading, sounds like you've got a sellers protected goldie, assuming you are attempting a HMK dump, if it's not protected, you could always try Lave Multiedit.

If the goldie was made using your own details then what you say is correct.

Do a search on 680D nano.

Just got a few terms wrong I think

your Goldie (if it was in the box at the time) would have received an EMK (680D nano), thus changing the the PMK and possibly the Provid.............

So you should be able to find the new PMK for your details from your Goldie.......LMedit or such will allow you to see it easily.

Now to get your Sub running again............it does depend a little on the version, but basically what you do is send the card an EMK command (the same as what has happen over the air) via a phoenix programmer.

So if you have the HMK, the new PMK, the Provid you can calc the EMK, (you could just get the EMK from a logger of course) and the sig...........FM card has all the stuff you'll need.

Mk = Emk

you could also use ggedit to read your goldie,providing it has been prog with ghost,which a dare say it would have been
