The Humax 5400Z and 5410Z decoders can be flashed (at your own risk) by using these Z-Boards
Either the correct JP 255 (Molex p/n 52368-0401) connector or a suitable replacement should be used

I make these boards as a hobby and offer them in the interest of learning
While I make every possible care and test the boards before shipping I am in no way liable For damage to any unit that is flashed

Theses units are made for educational purposes only and I am not responsible for any Problems from loading different firmware in to your decoder
having said all that -i know of only one that failed -and was repaired by reflashing the unitPM me for price and availability

Hey spooky, i have a 5410z, had it for years now, but i've spent most of my time on DM7000. What are the benifits of a Z-board? I remember looking into getting one about 4 years ago, but can't remember what was so good bout it.

it allows you to put third party firmware on it like toh so it can run embedded cams and other such programs
