Is the DreamFlash restriction to keep 20 MB reserved on USB stick, for copying the *.img file that has to be installed, also needed when using FlashWizard (the file could be mounted direct on the Windows PC or installed at least from the Dreambox Hdd, otherwise there are practically 20 MB on USB stick that cannot be used for another image ...) ?

Hello Blacky, thank you for using my little proggy

When you install an image, you need to use tempfiles for installing a temporary squashedfs partition on which uncramfs the image.
So you have to consider that there must be about 20 megs free on the device for installing an image (dreamflash does the same when using his menu for installing).
About hard disk: I should write a clean code for installing... please, keep in mind that some people don't have an hard disk installed into dreambox, but they must to be able to install multiboot images on usb stick as well.
If I use hdd to create temporary files , this won't work for those people....

Thnx for using FW... version 1.1 is completely finished... just some testing and is out!!!!

Thank you very much!!
I translated FW myself to english language (because I did organize resource file for texts strings storing... before it was a little bit... wild )

Now, starting from version 1.1 (Italian/English) FlashWizard is ready for being fully translated in any other language.
