are private messages edited??

Have received a couple of EDITED pms or so called private messages if thats what they are.... ARE private messages EDITED and veiwed by others at there free will or what.....

Just who can access these pms, every mod for there own personal gain...???

And what about messages that are sent and not ever received.....

Ahh a very interesting thought streeter75, But how would you know if they were being viewed, Then would you believe a Admin if they said no they are not viewed, And yes you are right about all the info they could get from reading peoples PM's, Its very scary aww well you have to trust someone i suppose but then again i perfer to trust no one lol.
so use email for the importain stuff.

Did receive a pm from a member... I KNOW it was edited bcoz a name was blotched out with ***... So i dont need to know whether or not they will tell us the truth....THEY DO read private messages...Ive noticed quite a few mods on here since i posted the question so this only tells us what??? Maybe theyve read them or not i dont know, But why the no response...

No Mods have access to PMs
And as mentioned above any word that is placed into the ban list gets editted - even in a PM

as mentioned in above thread by boxhead V I C was the word in question... did not know it was banned... xplained the edit type quotes in private message...
