Hi all,

I have a smargo that doesnt recognise Irdeto or Viaccess cards, it has default settings and firmware 1.03 (came with it)
I am trying to work irdeto card on a linux pc with cccam/newcs

My other smargo works great with all cards, same settings....

Any idea what can I do with it?

Did you put the reader in phoenix mode and correct speed etc?

In newcs, try to use different kind of parity, I have two smargo and on one I must use "odd" perity to get the card to init and ont he second I must use "even" parity... weird but it works

the best is to take usb to serial fuzitech what i use open up put xtal 6 mhz for irtedo2 or 3.5 mhx for non irtedo2 few manual connection needed thats all works perfect little know how is important to make own card readers
