but there is another option there saying press a to enable kernel 2.6.12-xx mode <i take this is not needed?
the prob is now when i start cccam there is no sign of the card in cccam
in the cfg i have entered /dev/ttsUSB0 and tried various combinations with no luck still

i am at the same step as you where.
The reader is seen (checked with dmesg)
But CCcam is not seeing the card.
I added these lines as test, but no go :-(
