Ben, If you want to move your dish yourself, well and good. However as I have stated before, YOU do not own the equipment. Hence any damage you do, you are legally responsible for. On the other hand, you can buy a dish, cable, connectors, wallplate etc and try and install it yourself. One minor point, if you do all of the above and screw the box, YOU are responsible for the damage. I am not being negative in my replies to you. Ok down to the fun part. Depending on where you are in this country or any others that can see the Bird. 1. Know how to find the bird.. ie. azmith and elevation. 2. you can buy a sat meter for about $50 ( you get what you pay for, mine is worth about 3 grand ) 3. you will need the tools to connect the cables together, more expense. 4. B3 and Pas 8 on this side of the country are very close together. A touch and a nudge will get yoou the wrong bird. After all that time and money and a lot of swearing, if not a fall of the roof, you might get it all back again. ( oh yeah don't forget the fine tuning of the LNB) Hope it all goes well for you. You can then buy a van and all the right gear and become a Fox installer....... Regards
