The bottom line is that there are other EMU's but it is a real shame. Necamd is and always has been my favourite. Objectively speaking however, who in their wildest dreams could imagine for a moment that the newcamd team's conditions would ever be honoured. Come on really? We all know the nature of the game and it is dealers who rely on facilities such as the newcamd, SF, Hydra Teams, to keep their customers buying products, viz. Dreambox.
To ask users to honour such a mandate as stipulated at the head of this thread is like asking a lion not to eat it's prey.
I do agree, that as hobbyists, we are here learn and progress BUT how not distributing newcamd affects this is mind boggling.
I personally don't care if an image comes EMUless and without key update facilities cos most times it only works initially and you have to do manual updates yourself thereafter anyway.
I am more than capable of loading them on manually and that goes for any keys I may happen across also.
Yes, to me it is primarily a hobby. Jeez, I can't remember the last time I sat down to watch TV properly, but I also do this in protest at the extortionate pricing and constant repetition one is subjected to at those prices. Also why the hell can the whole of Europe watch live football from England on a Saturday afternoon @ 3PM when we who live here cannot!
