Hi,
Thanks for the links. I am trying a sat.xml now from the websites your linked to.
What I do not understand, and please forgive me for being a noob in this, is why I get channels and signal while according to the googlemaps I am totally out of range? (I am in south Turkey near Alanya)
Here is my set up:
3m Parabol with Astra 19.0 LNB
3m Parabol with Hotbird 13.0 LNB
3m Parabol with Thor 0.8 LNB
These lnb's are connected to 3 boxes/centrals/switches with Descq 2.0.
The first 2 boxes have Astra and Hotbird on Descq 1 and 2 respectively.
The last box has Thor and Hotbird again on 1 and 2.
Now I have a cable from box 1 (Astra/Hotbird) and box 3 (Thor/Hotbird). When I go into my dreambox setup - tuner setup I get a perfect (and it automatically finds it) signal for all sat's except the Thor. The Thor I must choose a freq. manually. Then I get a flawless signal aswell. (92/96%)
But yet when I search for channels I find half of what should show.
I tried new and different sat.xml files now (Enigma 2 also has a feature that allows you to create a new one - tried that), downloaded several from the net. Had 3 sat companies look at it but I simply can not get it solved.
Perfect signal but not the channels. No NRK 1 NRK 2 NRK 3 etc. no swedish channels etc. Just a few (and those work on my subscribed card to CD (I subscribe for Dutch channels as I am Dutch and for Norwegian as my wife is Norwegian... don't ask how we ended up in Turkey
)) but yet perfect signal. I tried manually addind the channels... I tried all asfar as my wits can go
I am almost at the point where I will have extra parabols installed with cables from the LNB's running directly into my house rather then trough the switch box.
I forgot to add , when I put my tuner on Sirius sat (When using a sat.xml that contains this) I do find the NRK 1 etc. channels. But they do not work on the card. Just to make things a little more complicated..
Anyone think I will need a custom made sat.xml for Turkey?

Lat: 36.4979592
Lon: 32.0861989
