Sky here in NZ want to charge $200 install and $25 a month for a second receiver, - the thing is the install isnt for ownership of the box so I have a real problem paying that when to get the first installed is a whole lot less that.

Anyway, what I am hoping to be able to do is to share a single viewing card between the real sky box, and a dreambox (or other box that may allow it) - this is because trying to get everyone else to use a box that is different will be a challange, but it will still mean I can use the dreambox (or whatever) for recording etc.

So, I was hoping that I would be able to use something like the season interfaces in the real sky box, to a PC or the dreambox, and theput the card in to that, but it looks like that is not possible.

Has anyone sucessfully cardshared sky in NZ? It uses NDS, and the cards in use today are the same ones that came out many years back when they started, there have been no new ones issued (Prob because their contents so bad noone wants to steal it)
